Dear
Parents/Carers,
Community Mass
There
will be a Community Mass on Sunday 27th September at 10.00am, where
parents and children are all invited.
Music will be led by Folk Group and the Phillipino Choir. There will
also be a Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
After Mass everyone is invited into the hall for refreshments.
Concerns About Rough Play
Recently the school has been dealing with several injuries resulting from rough play. The children have all been told why rough play is dangerous and that it must not happen.

Coats and Jumpers Going Missing
There seem to be an
increasing number of children who are loosing jumpers in school which cannot be
found. We expect these have been accidently been taken home so can everybody
check labels and please return any lost property to school.
Finding property if
obviously much easier when items are labelled.

Macmillan
Cancer Support Coffee Morning – a message from Year
6
On
Friday 25th September Year 6 will be having a coffee morning
for the charity of Macmillan Cancer Support. It is a charity which supports
children and other people who suffer from cancer. There will also be a
non-uniform day. If you want to wear non-uniform you are asked to bring £1. All this money will go
to the Macmillan charity.
There
will also be lots of fun games and activities such as Penalty Shootout, Speed
Stacking, Pick n Mix, Pick a stick and Blow the ball and other fun things
during the day. The coffee and cakes will be held in the school hall from 10:30
until 11:30.
Road Safety – Zig Zag lines
These lines (including the
bus bay) are now enforceable. This means that Bristol City Council will be
using mobile cameras to photograph vehicles that are parked illegally and will
be issuing fines. We have been asked to contact the enforcement department with
details of vehicles parked (or stopping) illegally. It is also very dangerous
to drop a child off in the middle of the road.
Security
For security reasons, when
children arrive late, we are unable to allow parents to escort their children
to their classrooms. Children are more than capable of walking to classrooms by
themselves.
Missing reading books
Can I please ask that all families
check if you have any school reading books at home. We are missing lots of
books from the library and classes would appreciate any that are returned to
school.
Celebration

celebration assembly on Monday 21st September, where the following children
