19th June 2008

19th June, 2008.
Dear Parent/Carer,

TOMORROW’S AFTER SCHOOL GYMNASTICS CLUB

Unfortunately this has been cancelled. We will be arranging an additional session for July.

First Holy Communion

Well done to all the children who received their First Holy Communion last Sunday. A big thank you to Mrs. Bell and Miss Geach, for supporting the children in their preparation.

Responsible Internet Use

We have now sent out second copies of letters to parents in Key Stage 2 who have not returned the original letters. If we do not receive these shortly we will have to stop children accessing any internet learning materials in class (many of which are excellent).

Responsible Internet Use letters will be sent out to the Foundation Stage and Key Stage One very shortly. Please return the permission slips as soon as possible.

Team Point Winners – St. JohnWell done to St. John for winning last terms team points competition. They will have a non-uniform day to celebrate, tomorrow (20th June).Parish FayreThis will be taking place on Saturday 28th June. The school will run a Grocery Stall and will be collecting grocery items on Friday 27th June. Each child who brings a grocery item into school can wear non-uniform on that day.

Parish Raffle Tickets

Can all money, ticket stubs and unsold tickets be returned to the school office, as soon as possible. Thank you for your support.

School Choir

The school choir will be joining forces on Friday with two choirs from Bristol Grammar School, for an afternoon of singing workshops. Both schools are hoping to take photographs to display (BGS) and put on the blog (St Joseph’s). If there are any parents who do not wish their child to be in any photographs, please contact the school office before Friday lunchtime.
