Tomorrow - Bristol Brunel Academy ‘Home Grown Event’
Bristol Brunel Academy are holding a ‘Home Grown Event’ tomorrow (Saturday 16th October), 11.00am-2.00pm. Our Year 1 children will have a stall selling the food they planted in an allotment in Reception. Please come and buy some fresh produce and other ‘home grown’ items.
Free Basic Computer Skills Course For Parents and Carers
This free 6 week course will start after school on Tuesday 9th November and will include -
Internet & Email for Beginners.
Photoshop Beginners and Advanced
Digital Cameras Beginners & Advanced
Web Design Beginners,
Desktop Publishing Beginners

Parent Information Meetings – Mrs Mantle’s Class (A reminder)
These meetings enable teachers to share important information about the school year and learning with parents/carers. This includes this year’s curriculum and the class policy on things like homework. This meeting will be held at the start of term 2 on Tuesday 2nd November at 3pm. Apologies for this meeting being delayed.
School Attendance
Last weeks attendance was below 95%, except Mrs Ford’s class who achieved 97% attendance. Well done Mrs Ford’s class for another great week of attendance!!!
School Meal Price
As of the 1st November the cost of a school dinner will rise from £2.10 to £2.20. A new school menu will be sent home with your child next week.
Multi-Sports
Apologies but there will be no Multi-Sports next week, Tuesday 19th October. The final session and end of course tournament will be on Tuesday 2nd November. Thanks to all the children for contributing to a great club!
School Photographs
The deadline for returning school photographs for processing is Wednesday 20th October. After this date you will need to deal direct with the photographer.
Celebration of Achievements
There will be a celebration assembly on Tuesday, 19th October at 3.00pm. The following children will receive awards:-
