You may be aware that a number of teacher trade unions have balloted for industrial action in connection with the government’s policies regarding pay, conditions and pensions. Members of the unions involved are being called upon to take strike action on Thursday 17th October 2013.
This is proposed as a national day of action and the dispute is not with the school or local authority.
Any action may affect the school’s ability to open on this day.
