Registering for Pupil Premium
Letters have gone home this week to
parents about this additional funding. It would be very useful if all parents
could sign the letter saying if they are interested or not in registering for
the Pupil Premium.
Online Newsletter
Just a reminder that the school Blog (online diary) and the
weekly newsletter are available via the school website (the address is on the
letterhead). If you no longer want to receive a paper copy, let the school
office know. Let’s save paper!
Prospective Parents
Tours
There
will be tours for prospective parents for September 2015. The dates are:

After School Clubs
There
are still places for:

KODU on Monday – years 5/6

Choir on Tuesday – years 3/6

There are 10 places available for KS2 (Years 3/6) Football
Staff Training Days (school closed)
A fourth staff training day has been
planned for Monday 2nd February 2014. We have one more training day
and will let you know the date as soon as possible.
PE and PE Kits
Can I take this
opportunity to remind all parents and carers about the school PE Kit?
(PE kit should be in
school all week).
•
PE kit should be complete and labelled – plain white t shirt,
navy shorts, daps and/or trainers for outdoor PE.
•
If the incorrect PE kit is taken home accidentally – please send
it back immediately. We have too many kits that are going missing!
•
If due to medical
reasons your child is unable to do PE, you need to send a note to your child's
class teacher. Please ensure the letter includes details of how long your child
is unable to do PE for.
Lateness
A
reminder that pupils should be in school between 8.45am and 8.55am. If you
child arrives after 8.55am they will be classed as late and after this time all
pupils must come through the ‘Main Entrance’ and report to the office. This for
the safety of your child.

Governor Vacancies
Vacancies have arisen for a Foundation
Governor and a Parent Governor. For
further information please contact Fr Paul or our school secretary with your
name and contact number and a governor will get back to you.
Attendance
Well
done to Mrs. Ford’s class with 99% attendance and Miss Garnier’s with 98%
attendance last week. Mrs Ford’s class will have a special non-uniform day on
Friday 19th September.
Celebration Assembly
There will be a celebration assembly
on Monday 15th September, where the following children will receive their
Headteacher's Award: Eoghan (Y1), Samuel (Y4), Caitlin (Y5), Lorenzo (Y3) and
Ruby (Y3).
