I am
sorry to announce that two valued staff members will be leaving us at the end
of this week.
Firstly,
can I say a big thank you to Mrs
Cordelia Hutchinson, who has worked as an art specialist at school since
September. Mrs Hutchinson is a talented artist who has worked with children
throughout the school, developing their art skills this year. She is leaving us
because she is starting a new job as an illustrator for a greetings card
company.
Secondly,
I am sad to say goodbye to Mrs Cath
Floyd, who has worked as a Teaching Assistant in our school for almost 25
years and is leaving to begin a well deserved retirement with her husband
Steve. Previously, Cath was active within St Joseph's community as a parent of
three children and a member of the PTFA. Cath has had an amazing career
supporting and teaching children throughout the school. She also is a talented
artist and has developed great relationships with children, staff and parents
with her positive approach and strong sense of humour. Cath will be missed
greatly by everybody who knows her and we wish her a wonderful retirement with
Steve, her children, grandchildren and her chickens (who were hatched in Year
2).
We wish
both staff members happiness and success in their futures.
